Ooooh, it's that time again! This year's Reader's Choice Awards starts with nominations, so you have through the end of the month to submit nominations for all your favorite businesses! We'd be honored if you'd consider nominating Ground2Air Productions in the "Best Photographer" category. 📸 ❤

It’s time to nominate your favorite businesses for the annual Readers’ Choice Awards! We’re changing things up this year because the competition has been so fierce.

The nomination period begins this Thursday and runs through the end of October. The top three businesses in each category will advance to the finals, with voting taking place from November through early December.

Starting Thursday, click the links below to submit your nominations on this year’s ballots.

Cañon City High School VS Florence Sr. High - THE BAT GAME 🥎

Link to all the photos in the comments (Facebook is charging to post links so...)

We try to attend at least one game per sport, and we capture these photos on a volunteer basis. Your print/digital purchases help support this volunteer work. Thank you in advance!

We may be a little late posting these photos… but in our defense, one of us got TACKLED while taking them. 😂🏈

If you were at the home opener, you might have witnessed a very unintentional photographer tackle, which is 100000% not at all the reason we’re behind the ball on sharing these. 😂 Things have just been a busy blur over here! But I’ll probably bring up getting tackled on the sidelines for the rest of my life because it makes me feel tough. 💪

Here are the pics from the home opener Cañon City High School football game! We try to make it to at least one game from every sport to snap some photos, and your print/digital purchases help support this volunteer work. So thank you in advance!

The link to the full album is in the comments (facebook is trying to charge us to share links now booooo)

It's !

This is Keaton, please help us give him congrats on his upcoming graduation from GOAL High School!

You'll probably guess this from his pictures...but Keaton absolutely loves fishing. His other interests include camping and the outdoors in general!

Have a great rest of your senior year, Keaton! Finish strong, and get ready...the next chapter starts soon!

Happy !

This week we're saying CONGRATS to Taylor who is a senior at Cañon City High School. Taylor enjoys playing softball and wrestling (and we've seen her excel at both, color us impressed). When asked what she loves, she said she loves her friends and family!

This girl is the very definition of resilience. Way to go, Taylor! The next chapter of life is sure to be bright. ☀

Fall = pumpkins, sweaters, and photographers who haven't slept in weeks. 😅 It's our busy season which means we're taking on more projects than usual, and delivery windows are being pushed to the max, but for good reason...we really want to give every photo taken the attention it deserves. 🙃 Thanks for supporting our family business, even if we have tested your patience!

*A poem about waiting (by yours truly)*
The shutter clicks, the moment's caught,
But that's not where the craft is wrought.
Behind the scenes, the hours climb:
Culling, color, edit time.

Each face is studied, one by one,
Each shadow softened, tones begun.
No filter slapped on, no shortcut taken,
Just steady hands and eyes unshaken.

Our calendar's packed, and we're not complaining,
But quality work takes time, no feigning.
Every gallery gets its turn in line,
And yours will be worth the wait, we think you'll find.

We know you're eager, that's okay,
It means you can't wait for the day
Your memories arrive, refined,
With care and craft in every line.

So while your gallery's on the way,
Know that we're working, day by day.
Great work takes time, and time we give,
To make the photos you'll relive.

Good things come to those who wait,
And we'll deliver something great. 📸💜
