It would be easy to look at Stetson’s story and focus only on what happened to him.

But honestly? What stays with me most is how gentle and sweet he still is (and just look at that smile!!!). 🤍

The softness in his eyes. The way he leans into affection. The quiet trust he continues to offer despite everything life has already asked of him.

There’s something incredibly moving about a dog who still chooses love after hardship. And I have a feeling Stetson’s story is only beginning to show us just how special he truly is. ✨

Puppies should never have to know pain this early in life. 💔😭

At only a few months old, Stetson was found alone outside a California shelter with a broken leg and broken pelvis — injuries no puppy should have had to endure.

And yet somehow… his softness remained.

The way he looks at people, the way he still leans into love, the quiet hope still sitting behind those soulful eyes.

Stetson’s injuries healed improperly before rescue, and he still has a journey ahead of him. But what stands out most about this sweet boy isn’t what happened to him.

It’s his resilience. His story could have ended very differently.

Instead, this little shepherd mix made it to Idaho surrounded by people determined to give him the future he deserves – and we believe his best days are still ahead of him. ❤️

Or perfectly posed.

But at 13½ years old… she looks absolutely perfect to me. ❤

These are the expressions I never want to forget – the familiar tilt of her face, the softness in her eyes, even the tongue (we were tempting her with treats and she just couldn't help herself 😊).

And honestly, especially with senior dogs, those are the moments that matter most.

Not perfection. Not performance. Just THEM.

Exactly as they are in this season of life we wish could last forever.

Some connections feel almost written into the landscape itself. ✨

The wind. The golden light. A girl and the horse who knows her heart.

There was something so quiet and beautiful about Madison and Jaggs together – the kind of bond that doesn’t need to perform to be felt. Just trust, closeness, and a depth of understanding woven into a single moment.

These are the portraits that matter most to me. Not just beautiful images… but pieces of a story that deserve to be remembered forever. 🤍

Luka is only 6 months old, but life has already asked him to be braver than any puppy should have to be. ❤

He’s shy. Sensitive. A little unsure of the world right now. But if you give him patience, kindness, and space to move at his own pace… you can see him trying so hard to trust (and just LOOK at that adorable head tilt!!).

And when that trust starts to build, his sweet personality slowly begins to shine through. Luka gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids, and with the right person beside him, he has all the potential to grow into an incredibly loyal companion.
