Fourteen years 🤍
I still remember the first time I met her: she was 6, I was 15, and I was just learning how to hold a camera. She was my model, my muse, my biggest critic, whether she liked it or not. She’s where my love for animal photography began, where the adventure started, where Big Sky Hooves first found its heartbeat. I was lucky enough to call her mine later on, but she’s been shaping me from the very beginning.
She’s my travel partner, my co-dreamer, my adventure sidekick, my Cavallo hoof boot model, my first tattoo, my self-portrait helper, my best friend. The one who unknowingly built everything I have today, every ounce of inspiration, every spark of motivation, every step forward traces back to her. We’ve grown up together. Learned together. Seen places I never imagined I’d witness with her, all because of her.
She is my heart and soul. The reason behind every photo, every idea, every leap of faith. I don’t know where I’d be without her.
Happy 14th birthday to the horse who gave me everything: Flo 🤍
