Wild Foraged Series: Blackberries

This series is about halfway complete, and has been everything I dreamed and more. With each set of photos, I have been taking each person or couple to a location that has a wild edible, where they've been able to actually forage for the food, while also having pictures taken, and these came out so perfect.

The sun had just gone behind the hill, and gave us a beautiful glow with soft shade, and it was perfect for the end of summer feeling.

The next of the series will be wild plums, so stay tuned for that upcoming set of photos.

And a huge thank you to and her husband Ethan for being the muses!

Introducing Mr. + Mrs. Eades!! 6.13.26

I photographed Marisa + Ethan's engagement photos back in January, so getting to come back seven months later and photograph them actually getting MARRIED was so special!

A little white church, sunshine, chocolate cake, lots of laughter, and some VERY committed dance moves.Their wedding was sweet, relaxed, a little goofy, and filled with so much love, which is pretty much my favorite kind of wedding to photograph.

A little romance, a little obsession, and a whole lot of dramatic staring across rooms. 🥀

Inspired by the new Wuthering Heights, we leaned fully into the tension, longing, and beautifully complicated romance of it all for this Redding Creators shoot at Restoration House back in June.

The warm light, the architecture, the wardrobe, and these two absolutely understood the assignment.

Give me a beautiful location, dramatic clothes, and an excuse to make people look like they’ve been yearning for each other for 200 years and I am THERE. 😂

Sometimes love looks like knowing glances through an old truck window, hands finding each other without thinking, and laughter echoing across a quiet ranch at sunset.

This might be one of my favorite engagement sessions I’ve ever done, and also highly influenced by Twilight.

Since Facebook is weird about music rights and playing music with anything, just imagine “Flightless Bird, American Mouth” or “Eyes on Fire” playing in the background 🤣

I am considering doing fall minis this year, likely one or two days at Nash Ranch with the sunflowers and zinnias, and the pumpkin patch, and another day in the Burney/Fall River area, but not sure where just yet. If I do fall minis, how many people are interested?

Each 20 minute session will be $125, and you’ll get a minimum of 30 photos.

If I do them, they’ll likely be as follows:

August 30th from 6:00-8:00 PM probably in Cassel with 20 minute intervals.

September 27th from 4:30-6:30 PM at Nash Ranch, also with 20 minute intervals

Potentially an additional date for October 11th 4:30-6:50 at Anderson River Park or Minder Park in Redding.
