🌻 SUNFLOWER SESSIONS AT THE KENDALLS’ 🌻
Every year, I wait patiently for the sunflowers….
One day in late July, I drive past the Kendall family’s farm and suddenly the field is yellow. Thousands of sunflowers, all taller than the kids, all turning their faces to the sun like they know something we don’t.
You pull up and hear it first — gravel under your tires, the hum of bees, the whole field rustling when the wind moves through. Then the light hits. That buttery, golden hour glow that only happens in Wisconsin for a few weeks. The sky turns peach. The air smells like summer.
And that little yellow wagon with “SUNFLOWERS” hand-painted on it? It’s back. Buckets lined up, ready for you to take a bouquet home after. Stems are $1 each! (There’s a collection spot right on the wagon)
This is the first summer that the Kendall family is letting me photograph here, and i CANNOT WAIT! If you know me, you also know that I’m ✨slightly obsessed✨ with these beautiful flowers🤩😍
So I’m opening up a handful of mini/full sessions right in the field while the blooms are at their peak.
30-60 minutes. Just you, your people, and a whole field of sunshine. No CROWDS, no RUSH. We’ll wander the rows, catch that light, and make the kind of photos you look at in February to remember exactly how summer felt.
But here’s the thing — sunflower season doesn’t wait. We’ve got maybe 2-3 good weeks, and then it’s gone until next year.
I’m only opening a few evenings to keep it quiet and special for the field.
If you want a spot, DM me the word SUNFLOWER and I’ll send you available dates + details.
Let’s save you a sunset before summer slips away 🌻
Huge thanks to the Kendall family for sharing their field with us🤍 Jennifer Kendall, THANK YOU!!

P.S. — the Kendalls’ farm + flowers make these sessions possible 🌻 They’re accepting donations if you want to toss them a thank-you after your shoot.
