I just want to go ahead and start off saying THANK YOU all so much for the support and love for my business.
I don’t like having to set rules like this over when to pay for your session but now, after a situation, I have to because I am wayyyyy too lenient. Definitely not trying to be pushy or mean here!
Due to not being paid for a session after completing it, here are the rules when booking your session with Sweet Sense Photography:
⭐️ 1. When booking your session, you are more than welcome to pay so much the day you book if you’d like. For example, you could pay half one day, and the rest the day of your session before you arrive to complete your session. I completely understand life happens, weather happens, something comes up and you have to cancel and so on, so I don’t set that rule to a “have to pay when booking” type of deal. Your choice!
⭐️ 2. Although rule #1 is an option, this rule is a MUST. You MUST pay for your session no later than the day of AND before you arrive and we start taking pictures. If you are paying in cash, you can pay when you arrive before we start the session. I ended up doing a couple sessions three times where someone said they would send me the money, after we take the pictures, and never do. Therefore, as any photographer would do, you will not receive any pictures back or your session cannot be completed UNTIL you pay for your session. I don’t like being this way over money!!! But, I run a photography business. This makes a little extra that always goes towards my business or my family. You can’t go into a store and grab and candy bar, eat it, and walk out without paying, right? Right! Therefore, same rules apply with photos. No payment, no session (or no pictures are being edited and sent to you)
⭐️ 3. When you book, I ALWAYS confirm payment of your session when you schedule and I confirm time and place that day as well as a follow up day the day before your session making sure the time and date is still set and works for you! Like I said, life happens. I have 3 kids, I understand completely when something comes up, something happens, or you just can’t afford to pay for a session and have to reschedule. HONESTY goes a loooong way over here with me. Just tell me! I will very much understand! I’m getting off track now lol 😂 anyways, with this being said, please try to be as on time to your session as you can be. Most of my sessions are scheduled on weekends, but I do take some during the week if need be for anyone. Weekends, I plan a lot of things to have them done for the following week, or I try to make plans with my husband since he works from daylight to dark most days during the week and of course I have 3 kids so if you know, you know 🤭 I understand if you are running behind but when it turns into being an hour or so late, we will work out something else if that’s the case.
Respect these small businesses, local photographers, local small town stores, local online businesses and such. ♥️ Be mindful of their work, time and effort put into what they do. Thank you to all that love and support what I do!! You all are so appreciated!
