4 nights ago I practiced light painting. Been long time! I'm rusty. I light-painted myself with a keychain light and then I turned on the purple lights on for few seconds and off by using an Goove app on iPhone. 📷 🔦

The show will begin during the VIP members- and- artists-only opening reception Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022, and open to the public Friday, Nov. 4 through Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022. An ASL interpreter will be present during the opening reception.

Here is new self-portrait light painting that I did 2 nights ago at Des Moines Beach. It took many tries to get it right. I'm Deaf light painter. 🖐 In a variety of different forms, the hand appears in many Deaf artists' works as a symbol of our Deaf pride, our precious sign language, and our Deaf culture. Straight out of camera. No photoshop. Camera settings: f/8 - ISO 100 - 138 seconds

Last night I went to the Arts-A-Glow festival in my hometown, Burien. I walked speedily backward, auto-focused on the beast’s face, & shot this photo quickly. I cropped it a bit. Not bad. 😊
