Gotta do some yard work but first… let me take a picture!
Monarch butterfly populations have plummeted by over 80% since the 1990s, and western populations have dropped by more than 95% since the 1980s. Scientists estimate that if current trends continue, there is a 56% to 74% chance eastern monarchs will go extinct within 60 years, and a 99% chance for western monarchs.
