I don’t usually get to mix my day job with my side gig — and most of the time, that separation is intentional. But I had my first football game day since starting my new role in athletics, and I couldn’t help but grab a few pictures. (And as a Cowboys fan, I’ll forever be partial to blue and silver)

It was a pretty great season opener for both me and the Lobos with a 41–0 shutout win! I have a feeling it’s going to be a great year, and I’m excited to have a front-row seat to watch it all unfold.

The best is yet to come for these parents-to-be! Baby should be here soon and I know everyone is just ready to gobble that little one right up. First grandbaby for Mom’s side, and another adorable grandson to add for Dad’s!

Life has gotten pretty busy, so it’s been a hot minute since I’ve picked up my camera! Finally got back behind the lens this weekend starting with HCCS Media Day.

It was a bit of a hot mess, but you live and learn and will stagger the times for the winter sports 😂

These two were the district MVPs for their respective sports last year, so this photo truly says it ALL. 👑👑

It’s GRADUATION DAY for this one!! 🎓

Daphne came into our lives as a junior in high school when she joined our club basketball program. She was an instant difference maker on the court and to our team. A preseason injury led to her missing her entire senior year high school season, but you’d find nobody louder on the bench cheering on her teammates than her — which was a trait she had even before the injury.
The ultimate 6th man!

After all these years, she’s still my husband’s right hand woman, his assistant coach, and has continued to be a difference maker in our lives and those of the athletes she coaches! We’re so proud of all she’s done and excited for what she will do!!

A year ago today, I had the honor of shooting my nephew’s wedding to his beautiful bride. It was a crazy day, but I love looking back on these pictures. There were so many good ones — and with these two, it’s definitely not hard to have fun!

Happy first anniversary, JT and Jacey! I’m so proud of the life that you’re building, the parents that you are, and the love that you’re modeling for Asher and Hinley! Here’s to many, many more years.

I recently found some old film negatives, and in them was this photo of my dad and me that I had never seen before.

One of the biggest reasons I began taking photography seriously after he passed is because now, so much of what I have left of him lives in memories and photographs. Finding this picture was like getting a small piece of him back — even if just for a second.

That is what I hope to give people through my work: photographs of what may not seem significant right now, but will be what you would give anything to have back.

I took my Fujifilm X-T2 to the MCWS Austin Regional matchup between my favorite Texas Longhorns and Holy Cross today.

While nothing can truly replace film, the in-camera film simulation, minimal editing, and shooting jpeg was *chef’s kiss*

Baseball looks so dreamy on “film”— and even better with a Longhorn win. 🤘🏽

Molly ♡ The Goodest Goodbye

It’s been a little while since I’ve been able to meet any sweet pups, so when Molly’s mom, Heather, reached out to me about a session, it was an easy yes.

We had a really great evening together a couple of nights ago. She loved roaming around, eating some yummy Doritos, and being absolutely gorgeous in front of my camera. (Just look at those eyes and ears!)

Beautiful Molly transitions over the Rainbow Bridge today for eternity in Jesus’s backyard, knowing only peace and no pain. It truly was an honor to get even a short time with her. 🌈🐾
