Guess who's back? 😉

I took some time off to keep up with my busy 21-month-old! It's been a wild and wonderful ride filled with endless energy and adorable discoveries. Now that we're settling into this fun stage, I'm so excited to get back behind the camera! Family sessions are still my absolute favorite – capturing those silly grins and sweet moments of connection is what I love most about photography.

What a sweet gift!🎁

On July 5th, I was able to take this beautiful family's pictures! One of the daughters was giving the photos to her dad because he was retiring!🥳

Their family reminded me of my family: big, loud, tons of kiddos, and so much love and joy!🤍

I am so happy to be a part of such sweet moments as these and take family photos that will be enjoyed for years to come!😊

Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.

This verse has been on my mind today since my baby girl isn't feeling well. I appreciate all of your prayers!

The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains,
The world, and those who dwell in it.

Looking at this little rose reminded me of Psalm 24:1!

I love the beautiful things I get to see at locations for family photo sessions! I like to get there early and scope out THE spot and take a moment just looking around.

Especially if the photo session is for a family, it's great to make sure the area is open and conducive for games and little kiddos running around!

How to choose your location📍

You may think that the location for your family pictures doesn't really matter. It actually does because it sets the whole tone and feel for your session and photos.

I like to ask my families what the feel/look they want to achieve is, and then we can pick locations based on that.

I always want to help families get family photos that are true to them. Finding the right location is part of the fun!

The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him.

My day (including today) always goes better when I remember that the Lord is my strength and shield!

I saw these flowers at today, and wow, they are so pretty! I can't wait for the Mommy and Me photo shoot there in a few days!

It is so fun trying new locations for families and their photo sessions! Flowers+Families=Perfection!
