A bit about me - Molinda: I began taking formal art classes at the age of 12. My medium then was acrylic on canvas. I graduated to mixed media by the age of 18 and dabbled in geometric design. My artwork has taken a hiatus for the past 12 years due to something called working on a career and my scientific research. The inner drive is back - this time with a camera in hand. I truly love this hobby

- I believe that what my eyes see and what my lens captures is a window on the soul of the world I choose to surround myself by. I am still finding my "voice" in this world of digital photography but I feel that the title of this page says much - I want to tell the stories of the life I live, the people I meet, and the places I go through the images I am fortunate to capture.

In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you. - Buddha

My addition: how much you lived ... and I'm not so sure I agree about the gentle part all the time! Buddha definitely had different priorities at the time!

'Once upon a time a little lighthouse was built on a sharp point of the shore by the Hudson River.
It was round and fat and red.
It was fat and red and jolly.
And it was VERY, VERY PROUD.'
