Mixed mediums forever & ever & everrr 🎞️
Film gives us the things we love most about analog: texture, softness, grain, color, and the feeling of something made slowly and intentionally. Digital gives us another kind of freedom — speed, flexibility, nearly endless iso for low light settings, movement, and the ability to stay fully responsive to whatever is unfolding in front of us.
Neither is better. They simply see and act differently.
So we move between 35mm, medium format, and digital, (+ Polaroid, and Super 8) throughout a wedding day — not because we want your gallery to feel like a collection of various aesthetics, but because real life doesn’t happen in one visual language - and we think your forever memories should embody that variety of feeling too!
Every feeling, every fleeting memory -
We want to be ready for all of it. So we choose the medium as the moment calls for it, often documenting single moments on a variety of mediums, allowing you to relive your sweet memories with true multidimensional feeling!
That’s the Storyteller Co approach: documentary at its heart, editorial when it feels right, and always more interested in what actually happened and never ever allowing your wedding to look OR feel like a performance!
