My first product photography shoot was a random leap of faith, but can honestly say I'm satisfied with the results.

Been studying up on various genres of photography for a while and although my bread and butter is portraits, you can never have enough skills in your arsenal so decided to give it a shot on the whim.

Didn't have a real gameplan prior to picking up my camera, all I knew was I was gonna use an unopened bottle of from my home studio as the main product and go from there. Ended grabbing a glass from the kitchen, the brown pouch in the bag, which actually has a lens in it, but complimented the bottle, and a few other things.

Tried a few variations of the setup and found a few I liked, but needed something causal to top it off [II] and settled on a piece of jewelry. And viola, this is the final shot I settled on.

There's actually two different versions of this edit, check each slide out and let me know which ones you like best and if you can tell the difference. Added the straight out of camera image in the last two slides so you can see the before/after.

Definitely interested in doing more mockups in the future so if you like this one, stay tuned!
