My path into photography hasn’t been a straight line — it’s been a creative journey nearly 20 years in the making.
Right out of high school, I explored beauty school before realizing my dreams were pulling me elsewhere. Soon after, I found myself on movie sets in Austin, Texas, working as an extra and even landing a small film role. It was a thrilling season of life — one that taught me so much about storytelling and emotion.
Then motherhood entered my world… and lovingly reshaped everything.
About twelve years ago, I stepped into the role of Producer’s Assistant, helping bring commercials and short films to life for local businesses. Yet again, when my growing family needed me most, I chose to pause my career and lean fully into motherhood — a decision I will never regret.
Years later, after my third son was born, I was gifted a beginner camera. The camera looked complicated and overwhelming, so I let it sit quietly for a while… until my daughter arrived and sparked something deep inside me.
The moment I picked up that camera, I knew —
this was where I was meant to be.
What began as photographing friends and family quickly grew into something far greater. I invested in education, upgraded my equipment, and poured my heart into mastering this craft.
Having also experienced life in front of the camera — from bo***ir to equine maternity modeling — I understand the vulnerability that can come with being photographed. That perspective allows me to gently guide my clients so they feel confident, beautiful, and completely at ease.
