Favorite Moments of Fresh Coast Frenzy '26
1. Overcoming my moderate phobia of heights to photograph off the balcony. I think some of my fav shots from the weekend came from that angle.
2. Listening to my 3 year old 'announce' during a game. Granted, most of what she said was unintelligible but goddamn it was cute.
3. Watching a lot of sick roller derby, and nailing multiple apex jump shots including a great one of the Rockford jammer 🤩
4. Getting to support Wilkes Barre/Scranton Roller Derby and buying their league cookbook - cannot wait to try some of their recipes.
5. Just the vibes of Burning River Roller Derby. Incredible.
6. Photographing a very sweet little moment when a child tried on her mom's helmet after a Rockford Rage Roller Derby bout. Tugged on my fellow mom heartstrings 🖤🧡
7. Comparing shots with my photo friend, Jason in between matchups!
