Such a nice way to begin my Craft Show Season on such a sunny morning. Looking forward to spending time in Ocean Gate selling my photos of this charming town, & other Jersey Shore locations. Stop by if you are in the area.

Please join us for a day of family fun. Pack up your favorite comfy beach chair (and tent if you like) and stake out your spot in the park and relax and enjoy listening to Instinctive DJ's LLC. You will be able to fill your belly with all sorts of delicious creations from some of the top food trucks in New Jersey. Cajun Jax BBQ, Jersey Johnnys Grill, Aphrodite's Kitchen, Cheezen, Waffle de Lys, Bro-rittos and Shore Shake Then walk it off exploring the treasures from all of the interesting vendors. Representatives from so many national brands will be here. Jersey’s best crafts and photos will be available for you to take home. You know that there is always that one object that we have been looking forever for. Or find your new best friend from one of the rescues. Your next hobby or favorite might be just around the next corner. You will want to stop over at the Meridian Health truck. They will be in attendance with their 33 ft mobile screening truck conducting FREE health and Wellness screenings !!! Screenings: Blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, giveaways and information as well as appearances from the Pawsitive Action team. And then back for more food. You might want something to add to all of that yumminess so walk over to the beer garden. They will be serving from 12:30 to 4:30. A $10 bracelet will get you a reusable mug and 2 beers, additionals are $2. What will the kids be doing while you are relaxing? Enjoying the bounce houses, obstacle course, face painting, bingo and so much more. Do not worry about the kids coming back over and over for more $. Bracelets for the kids are only $5 for unlimited fun. Lacey’s Home Depot’s kids corner will be here for all to create and experience. Wawa has donated fruit juice cartons so the kids will stay hydrated. McDonalds of Lacey and Oriental Trading have donated prizes for the kids. Private Hudson is a local band and they will be performing at 2 pm. Featuring music from the likes of Pearl Jam, Incubus, Faith No More, Live, and Tool, they also dive deeper into the catalogs and reintroduce modern pop songs in a whole new light. Lets not forget about the dunk tank. Last year this box of water saw many town VIPs graciously dunked. If you have someone in mind, just let us know, bribes are always welcomed. There will be picnic tables throughout the park and in the beer garden. Handicap parking will be by Wildwood and East Cape May. Additional parking will be at the baseball field, Wildwood pier, Bayview Ave lot and Anglesea pier. Al permitted parking is waived for the day. We will have a 50/50 and some surprises along the way.. GSP S to exit 80 to Rt. 9 S for approx 5 miles.Ocean Gate jughandle sign and make a R immed. after Walgreens. Cross over Rt. 9 and continue straight on Ocean Gate Drive for approx. 1 mile. Make a R onto West Arverne and continue to the park.
GSP N to exit 77. R onto Forest Hills Parkway and continue to the light at Quick Chek. Make a L onto Rt. 9 N for approx. 2-3 miles. Bear R at the sign by the McDonalds and Shop Rite and continue straight on Ocean Gate Drive and follow from above
