Under the category of “Really???”
Was doing senior banner portraits and media day pics this evening in the cold for Brewster Varsity Flag Football. We were completing the senior banner portraits but stopped as it was just too dark. Stadium lights were supposed to be on but weren’t. I tried using my modeling light (the light inside my soft box) to act as our only source of light. As minimal as it was, I was amazed it worked. But then, five minutes into media day….the rain! 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Because my studio lights cannot get wet, we all scrambled to get everything out of the rain and under the snack bar awning. Players were leaving and thanking me for the session. I was so sad and felt terrible this happened to them. And as the last couple players were leaving…the stadium lights came on…and 2 minutes later…the rain stopped. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
REALLY???
I’m totally going to hook the team up with more pics somehow (cover a game or figure out a time to do more media day pics, or whatever). I want to! They were such a nice and fun group to work with, many of which I’ve photographed before! And I’m truly appreciative they chose me as their photographer. For now…we’re going to design AMAZING senior banners!! ❤️
