Prints and photography workshops available at lewisfrazier.com. I was born with the undeniable passion for adventure, adrenaline, and an affinity for the natural beauty of our planet. My fascination with wild animals and remote places originates from my early years. I spent my childhood exploring the lakes and streams of the North Texas woodlands with my family - bringing home frogs, snakes, turtl
es, and baby birds. On hunting and fishing trips with my father, I spent hours amusing myself in the marshes and woodlands, learning valuable lessons in patience and understanding animal behavior. As a teenager, I spent much of my time outdoors, hiking, scuba diving and skiing whenever I had the chance. After High School, I began attending the University of Colorado in Boulder, where I graduated with degrees in both Neuroscience and Psychology, and two National Championship titles with the Colorado Buffaloes Freeskiing Team. It was here in the Rocky Mountains that I discovered my love of photography after receiving my first DSLR as a Christmas present from my family. As a result, I discovered something much more valuable than a camera - a passion for sharing the divine beauty of nature with others through images. Since then, I've been traveling the world any way I can; finding new places and subjects to frame with my lens. For me, every adventure is a fantastic opportunity to learn more and share the splendor of the vast outdoors with others, so that they might find the same joy and inspiration I have found in exploring the natural world, and be reminded of the delicate world we have to protect and care for. A fascination with the distant corners of our Earth and the magnificent creatures who call those places home has resulted in a growing desire to seek and document the pristine beauty of our planet - on land, underwater, from the air, and up close - while promoting awareness of our impact through photographs. Aside from photography, I am an accomplished and experienced freeskier, scuba diver and backpacker, and have been known to go flyfishing from time to time. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, concerns, licensing, or special requests. I am more than willing to tailor my work for special projects and/or accommodate requests for custom work. Shoot me an email and we'll work something out!
