There is something especially satisfying about seeing a cookbook move from concept to printed page.

Last year, I photographed a selection of recipes for The Anti-Inflammatory Farmacy Cookbook by Mackenzie Fink, a project rooted in nourishing ingredients and thoughtful storytelling. Whitney of brought it all together with a stunning timeless design that lets every recipe shine.

It’s always an honor to contribute to projects where photography, food, and design work together so seamlessly and to work with incredible, fun, talented women!

Congratulations, Mackenzie, on a beautiful book. I’m grateful to have played a part in bringing it to life.

“The Anti-Inflammatory Farmacy is a cookbook born from the heart of , a Montana-based nonprofit where veterans embark on 41-day wilderness journeys and discover the healing power of whole foods. Co-founder of Heroes and Horses and author Mackenzie Fink, who overcame her own health challenges, shares 55 nourishing recipes that celebrate food as medicine through four gentle pillars: whole foods, balanced nutrition, simplicity, and intuitive eating. From spirulina smoothies that sustain her five children through busy mornings to Korean beef bowls cooked over campfires in the backcountry, these recipes eliminate processed foods, sugar, dairy, and inflammatory grains, restoring balance within while honoring the body’s wisdom.

Beyond the kitchen, this book invites readers to participate in the healing the world so deeply needs by reconnecting with their food sources—whether through windowsill herb gardens or visits to farmers markets—remembering that food is medicine, and our relationship to it is sacred. Additionally, the book includes meal planning guidance and gentle practices for developing an intuitive relationship with nourishment. Join Mackenzie as she guides you back to the ancient understanding that our bodies are temples deserving of reverence, one mindful meal at a time.”

Food and beverage shoot for The Camino in Missoula.

For me, restaurant photography is a thrill and a challenge. The pace is fast- searching for new perspectives, styling scenes, and finding fresh ways to capture each dish before the next one arrives from the kitchen.

As an artist, it pushes me to think on my feet and see each plate in a different way. Sometimes after delivering a gallery, I need a little distance from the images. Looking back a few months later with fresh eyes, I get to appreciate them in a whole new light, and this shoot at .camino is making me proud.

An unforgettable evening at Eglise Lodge at the Yellowstone Club.

It was truly an honor to photograph Chef Daniel Boulud and experience his incredible culinary artistry up close. Set in one of the most beautiful locations, this event was the perfect blend of stunning scenery and artfully crafted dishes.

Built from snow. Warmed by design.

Now open at , Iglu is a snow-built bar at 9,000 feet where alpine tradition meets comfort. Inside, Arhaus furnishings enhance the on-mountain experience, from a warm seat inside the snow-built structure to comfortable outdoor lounge seating where guests relax and take in the views from one of the resort’s most distinctive venues.
