I spotted this young king strolling down Georgia Avenue. His hoodie with the words ‘Together We Rise’ caught my eye. Thanks to a well timed red light, I was able to learn the story behind the phrase. He introduced me to Rise, a Georgetown Law initiative that cultivates community and training to young law students. I pray this brotha’s future is as bright as his smile!

Someone out there needs to hear this: Your presence can profoundly impact those around you. I want to share a story about my neighbor Gavin. Since I moved into my current home, he has been a constant source of kindness and warmth. We recently had a chance to talk, and our conversation about life, photography, and everything in between really inspired me. I may not know his spiritual beliefs, but in that moment, he shared a message of hope and authenticity that really resonated with me. Your greatest ministry is your everyday walk!
