Now this photo was a complete accident. When I was walking through a park, I thought I was capturing a mom simply holding her child. Then I realized that I caught the essence of Motherhood. I debated on whether or not to post this photo, but then quickly came to the conclusion that this photo captures what it means to be human in the cycle of life. This is probably one of my favorite photos that I have captured on my street photography adventures as it is iconic to womanhood. This photo makes me think of my wife and how much of a wonderful mother she is. It also reminds me that there are so many things in this world that we take for granite, such as a mother's love.

I know that's a deep thought, but every once in a while, as a photographer, you capture life in its purest, most tender, and most natural form.

SIDE NOTE: I chose to make the photo black and white because this young mother already had a very 60s/70s look to her. Everything from the hair, to the glasses, and of course the leopard print pants. I thought B&W was fitting as it also gives it a film photojournalism look.

I love the look of a decrepit old building, especially churches. Maybe it comes from my love and passion for horror movies and being a Paranormal Investigator? There is something truly cinematic about an old abandoned building in shambles.
