Hello, everyone! As you may know, I’m caught up in a few big projects right now, the two most important being my continuing photo/website work and my book. Now, the book is where I really need your help. As I see it, i’d like to use between 20-25 models of all shapes, colors, and sizes, boys, girls, and those who aren’t yet sure.
So far I’ve had a few volunteers which is amazing, but I still need to populate this book. The point of the book is Body Positivity; each model will have a 2 or 3 page spread with a small set (or a single dramatic photo; not sure yet) and a written testimonial about how they came to be comfortable in their skin.
For some people it’ll be a short sentence, for others it might be a long story. I would like the models to appear as n**e as they are comfortable with, but the point of the book is being comfortable in your skin, feeling beautiful, and the things that led you there. I’ll be appearing in the book, as well. Now, my current work is acting as a sort of precursor to this:
As of now, there are 5 models who’ve chosen to sell their photos on my website. Many (all) of them are quite new to being photographed n**e and several have caught no small amount of grief for it.
It isn’t this society’s job to make these girls feel bad about having more BALLS than the rest of the world. If anything, we should be praising and supporting these individuals for their dedication and their courage. That said, their photosets are still available here:

So here’s where you come in… If you buy these full photosets, all the money gets split with these brave models. The money that I keep is being spent on booking new models and getting this book printed and distributed. (Also hamburgers, let’s be honest.)

Hey all! I need all the help I can get funding this new book project, so please have a look at the things I have available for sale, or make a kind donation on the front page of the site! Here's just one of my photo prints, Skydrop; a long exposure of fireworks with some clever zoom/focus pulling during the exposure! Hard work, but lots of fun with a great result.

I want everyone to know what I'm really up to; this isn't all about taking/selling pictures of naked people for me. Here is my secret mission: I am compiling work for a couple of books I'd like to publish. One would sort of be a photojournal of my various trespasses and explorations called "Guerilla Historian". The other would include my n**e/figure work and would feature models of all shapes, sizes, colors, creeds etc.
I'd want to collect testimonials from the models regarding their thoughts on body positivity and pride. That is what I'm really about. I'm not trying to change the world, or the Standard of Beauty, I'm just trying to illustrate what I believe in, which is that Humans are Amazing things. Not a one of us has exactly the same vision of beauty, and it is a lot more difficult for some of us to feel truly beautiful than it is for some others. I find that this attitude very rarely has to do with how someone actually looks, but more with how they feel, where they've been, how they think. I want to hear the story of how these people got to the point where they felt confident enough to step in front of my camera in nothing but the skin they were given. For some, it'll come easy. For others, it'll be a little bit more of a struggle. I want the stories. If anyone's interested in contributing their bodies or their stories (preferably both, for context in the book) please let me know.
