For Recreational and Commercial (Part 107) drone pilots please be aware of the upcoming drone flight restrictions during the World Cup.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be issuing Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) for each match.

These TFRs will create No Drone Zones around each of the match venues and fan festival sites.

Let's all do our part for the drone community by flying responsibly and check the FAA TFRs before your flights.

I've been inspired to get back into my website Blog. I recently made a new post titled "The Photo Essay - Images That Tell a Story".
My goal with the blog is to post about photography and videography topics that I'm interested in and may be informative and helpful to others.

The classic photo essay is a form of storytelling. It presents a narrative through a series of photographs. It can evoke emotions and convey messages by showcasing a subject or theme through carefully created and curated photographs.

The Boulder Cup was two days of epic cyclocross racing at Valmont Bike Park in Boulder, Colorado.

Age group racing was schedule each day with the UCI Elite Men and Elite Women racing in the mid and late afternoon.

My latest blog post for anyone who received their first drone over the holiday period.

When driving a car there are specific rules and safety requirements to follow. As a recreational drone flyer there are similar rules to operate within. It’s the responsibility of the drone pilot to know the rules and fly responsibly.

As an FAA Part 107 UAS Remote Pilot I'm passionate about safe drone operations and also do my part to increase the awareness and knowledge of drone use with the general public.

During the holiday season drones have become popular gifts. As such the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has launched the “12 Days of Drones” safety campaign to ensure that these gifts are used responsibly and safely.

I hope this post is helpful to anyone gifting or receiving their first drone this holiday season.
