Veronica and Alfonso's wedding day was a dream come true. After their beautiful ceremony at the historical Mission San Juan Bautista, they whisked away to Paicines Ranch in style, riding in his grandfather's stunning 1955 teal and white Oldsmobile. Talk about a grand entrance! Surrounded by the beauty of nature, their reception was a night to remember. Happy three year anniversary to you both and your growing family!

Two years ago today, I had the absolute joy of photographing Kaitlyn and Kyle’s wedding at the beautiful Brigalias. What a day it was! From the moment Kaitlyn stepped out in her sparkly, floral dress to the surprise first dance with her mom, it was a celebration packed with heartfelt moments, hilarious memories, and some seriously epic dance moves. Having known Kaitlyn’s family for nearly 30 years, it truly felt like I was part of the celebration, which made it all the more special.

The day was filled with love, and the way these two lit up together is something I’ll never forget. It’s been such an honor to capture their story, and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings for them.

Here’s to a lifetime of belly laughs, spontaneous adventures, and unforgettable memories! Happy Anniversary, you two! 🥳

Happy wedding celebration anniversary! These two got married under this majestic oak back in 2020 surrounded by the magic landscapes of Paicines Ranch. We went back out to the oak under the night skies next to that ancient valley oak and they had a blast dancing in their wedding costumes.

Wishing you two amazing humans the happiest celebration of love, silliness, and bird costume magic for now and forever!

A little front yard bird nerd action from the past couple months.

This Costa’s hummingbird built her nest in late February, tucked into a branch right outside my house. She laid two tiny eggs, incubated them for a few weeks, and then spent the next few weeks feeding and raising the chicks completely on her own.

Both chicks made it. One fledged a few days ago, and the second followed a couple days later. You can probably guess who fledged first based on the video.

Also, as is tradition, the male Costa’s hummingbird contributed absolutely nothing to this process except good looks and vibes. The female does all the work. Nest building, incubation, feeding, defense… the whole operation.

Costa’s are desert specialists, timing their nesting with early blooms and insect availability, which makes sense when you watch how fast those chicks grow.

Anyway, feeling pretty lucky to have had a front row seat to all of this right outside my door.
