I always love looking back at my favorite posts of the year, but this year I made four posts and barely touched my camera. I think 2024 might have been the busiest year I've ever had, but it was filled with so many unforgettable moments that I never shared. Not pictured here are SO MANY hotel pools, countless birthday cakes and celebrations (including a 30th, three 40th, and three 70th!), two baby showers, a bridal shower, two weddings, and the birth of our niece in March. I don't know what 2025 will bring, but I'm ready to find out. Happy New Year! 🎆🍾

1 - Kicked things off by recharging for the year ahead and belatedly celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at

2 - Marathon weekend games are always fun, even when you bring a Yankees fan along

3 - Spring scenes at

4 - Seeing the aurora for the first time was the best surprise of the year, and capturing it at the iconic Motif No 1 in Rockport with my dad is something I'll never forget

5 - Sunset over a stunning vista at Rowena Crest in the Columbia River Gorge. This was our second trip to this area and it didn't disappoint

6 - I can't stop thinking about the heated saltwater pool at , the GOAT of the 2024 hotel pools

7 - I also can't stop thinking about this sandwich, and specifically the croissant. The best I have ever had, from in Bend, OR

8 - Indoor plants, outdoor plants, all the plants. Every spare moment at home was spent overhauling our landscaping (again)

9 & 10 - The , a beautiful oasis in the middle of Millennium Park in Chicago. Not pictured: driving home from Chicago amidst the Delta Crowdstrike meltdown 🥴

11 & 12 - The only criteria for 's bachelorette party was chill vibes and a pool. Check and check on a memorable weekend at Stepping Stones Farm in Temple, NH

13 - Our little (and growing!) book club celebrated its first anniversary in July with some gently repurposed cupcakes

✨1000th post!✨

That's a wrap on 2023. My first post of the year was a photo of the best sunrise of 2022, captured during a peaceful moment on vacation. In that post, I shared that I had just left my job and was excited to start the year with a new opportunity, and even more excited about what that would mean for my work-life balance, my mental health, and my personal relationships.

Keeping with the same theme, here's the best sunset from 2023, from a girls' trip to Michigan that I hope is a new tradition. As I hoped would be the case, I spent the past year prioritizing things that fill me up instead of draining me, like taking care of my houseplants and starting a book club with strangers from the internet 😂

Wishing a happy and new year to all of my friends, family, and everyone who supports my silly posts on this corner of the internet. I'm excited to see what 2024 has in store for us all 🎉
