Christmas season reminds me that beauty isn’t just something we see - it’s something we carry. It lives in our quiet strength, in kindness we choose even when the world feels uncertain.
This season I’m thinking a lot about being brave enough to stay ourselves.To remain creative. Different. Tender. Curious. In art and in life.
It’s easy to get trapped in the bubble - to watch, imitate, scroll, like the same things, until everything starts to look and feel the same. Algorithms reward sameness. But the soul doesn’t.
Real beauty comes from stepping outside that comfort zone, trusting your inner voice, and allowing your uniqueness to exist without apology.
Believe in a better future, even when the present is messy. Stand strong, even when life bends you in unexpected ways. And don’t be afraid to shine in colors that don’t match the palette you’re “supposed” to fit into✨
May this season bring warmth, courage, and space for creativity - on the canvas, behind the lens and in everyday moments we choose to live honestly.

There was one moment that sparked this photo —
the first time I visited Visages in Expedition 33! 🎭
Quiet, strange, carved into the landscape… tragic and monumental all at once. I couldn’t stop thinking about these faces and I knew exactly what I wanted to create!
The only thing left was finding someone who would GET it. Luckily, I had already (gently, strategically) turned into a fan 😈
So this collaboration was basically auto-assembled 🫶
As for the creation of the Visage, I made the base from a free-to-use statue reference, reshaped the expression, and then hand-painted over it to add more texture and depth.
(Painting skills entered the chat 🎨)

Maelle parried. Visage acquired. Mission complete.

I adored how the armor looked in the autumn setting, but this time I wanted something different — something with scale and silence. I imagined Mando standing against the desert winds of an unknown world, heat and dust rising, the horizon swallowed by a pale distant planet, cape and sand in motion... the journey continues!

I said it a thousand times, but there’s something so special about autumn — it gives you this incredible richness of color to frame a scene with. Here, the sweep of red leaves almost becomes part of the silhouette, echoing the curve of the pose and guiding the eye right through the composition.
I love how the stance feels both poised and in motion, like Marcille is mid-spell or mid-breath — a perfect balance!

's fairy was A DREAM!!!
Honestly, could there be a more perfect look for the park? The soft cream and earthy brown tones blended right into the fall colors — like she just stepped out of the leaves themselves. The makeup had that magical balance too: warm enough to echo the season, but with a touch of shimmer that caught the light beautifully.
We found one little patch of trees where everything clicked — the colors, the pose, the softness. It’s such a good reminder that you don’t need a grand location; sometimes, one perfect corner and the right energy are all it takes🍁

Sharing the first image from our autumn meetup!
We had such an amazing group — full of creativity, laughter and striking costumes.
Starting the series with this Cult of the Lamb cosplay by effie.marie (IG) felt just right: dramatic, full of texture and perfectly matched to the fiery autumn backdrop. Every detail — from the headpiece to the bell — caught the light beautifully👌

When (ig) and I were talking about locations for this session, the rose garden instantly felt like the perfect fit - soft, romantic, and full of charm and sunlight. But... I wanted a little something extra🤏
Actually, A LOT something extra🫣
That's when the idea struck me - I couldn't get the image of Glinda standing in her magical bubble out of my head. I knew we needed to bring that moment to life!
A little planning, a lot of hard work, and just the right touch of magic later... here it is!
I think our little team of two nailed it!!! 💃💃
