A few years ago, I started focusing on headshots.

What I didn’t expect was how much of it is just about connection. Giving people a moment to settle in, drop the pressure, and be themselves in front of the lens.

Events, conferences, new faces every time,just small moments, real conversations, and seeing people as they are.

“Wanderlust: n. a strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explore the world”

Unplanned, unorganized, and fully improvised. I look back with no regrets, but with many memories, flavors, people and places printed in this experience during the past two years. While I’m still surprised by how beautiful this country is, that drone was able to document some of the most breathtaking places along the way. As I’m scrolling aimlessly on travel reels; America was not the most seducing one, but it makes me realize how much I haven’t seen and how much I still need to see. Thank you Earth 🌍

Henry Richard is hugged his family and friends before he crosses the finish line at the 2022 Boston Marathon. His younger brother Martin was 8 years old when he was killed in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. Henry had returned to the Boston Marathon finish line as a spectator almost every year since the 2013 bombing that killed his brother and maimed his 7-year-old sister Jane, who lost her left leg, but spared his parents, Bill and Denise, and himself. Until today, he had never crossed that line as a runner. “I know Martin would have been doing it with me,” Henry told WBZ. “I’m happy to finish it. It’s all I can think about.”

“There was so much emotion packed there,” Henry Richard said of turning onto Boylston Street and passing the site of the bombings nine years ago. “Everyone was cheering for me. Taking that corner, seeing some family and some close friends on that corner — that meant a lot.”
