Went for an early swim this morning but first had to see the nesting Piping Plovers at this beach. One out of four eggs hatched, the little one is walking the beach close to parents. Hope to post some images tomorrow of the baby plover. All 3 juvenile oystercatchers have been tagged and have full flight now! A few from this morning.

I thought my swim season was over due to the cold nights we had recently...but this is New England. Knowing we have Indian summer kicking off today, I brought my shorties and took the plunge. Happy boy, still did my regular swim in 58 degree water. Best of all, temps at night are going up for another week, this grandpa is ready for my swim tomorrow as well!
