Welcome to my ever so slightly satirical and sarcastic history series I'm calling "I Do Fun Things in New England So You Don't Have To" 🎉

It shouldn't shock anyone at this point that I've been to A LOT of historic homes this year. So when I say a house becomes a new favorite, that's really saying something!

😍 The style of the home, the home's history, the staff: everything about this home made for a great visit!

👻 I didn't even take one of their scheduled ghost tours yet the ghostly happenings are such a part of this home that I got some intel during a regular day time tour. Which was perfect since I wanted to report back to you on any ghost stories from within this home!

🤔 Whether you want to visit this house for its spooky happenings or just it's general beauty and fascinating history, Ventfort Hall is one you need to add to your Must-Visit list!

🎃 Yes I chose to use this home for a Spooky Edition episode but there is way too much of the history's home to squish into a one minute video. So again, I urge you to go sign up for a tour and experience it for yourself! Because this home has had a variety of uses (some of which might shock you!)

Welcome to my ever so slightly satirical and sarcastic history series I'm calling "I Do Fun Things in New England So You Don't Have To" 🎉

Is this my new favorite cemetery?!

😬 As someone who loves to wander around old cemeteries, I was pleasantly surprised by the absolute beauty in this particular one. Made to create a unique space to grieve and enjoy peaceful nature, this cemetery is the first of its kind! And how lucky we are to be able to enjoy it to this day!

👻 I was hoping to bring you spooky stories form this cemetery but it's literally too peaceful that it doesn't have much of a history of spooky happenings 🤣

PICS FOR 🌟 PART 23: HOUSE OF SEVEN GABLES// SALEM, MA

Welcome to my ever so slightly satirical and sarcastic history series I'm calling "I Do Fun Things in New England So You Don't Have To" 🎉

😬 Don't get me wrong, the house was cool and had a lot of history. But, the tour instead of going through the history of the home sequentially, jumps around quite a bit and it was hard for me to keep everything straight. Was it just my tour guide, is that how it normally goes?? Idk but that was my experience.

👻 I know everyone loves Salem and whatnot, and like I said in my Part 7 video, I love Salem but the tourism is subpar. This historic home has VERY low roofs and small rooms and yet there was I think 22 people on.mt tour? I know everyone wants to see it, and they want to make money, but I was underwhelmed and overcrowded 🫣

🤔 I am so curious to know what others have experienced. Was your tour overcrowded? Did you get a more linear tour? I wish I could just wholeheartedly love every single historic house/site tour/visit but sometimes they miss the mark for me and I'd rather be honest with you. 🤷‍♀️ But if you want to support the house and take a tour and see for yourself, I will never discourage that!

🎃 Spooky Season is here and fall is looking very fall like here in Northern New England 😍

Historic Sites + Fall Foliage? Nothing gets better.

I am headed out of New England this week to explore some history and fall in another part of the country. Can't wait to share it with you!

In the meantime, enjoy fall in the best place in America. Don't fight me in this, New England is the Queen of Autumn 🍂👑🤷‍♀️

Just here to remind you that when I'm not exploring historic sites to bring you my "I Do Fun Things in New England So You Don't Have To" Series, I am in fact, a photographer who is out there capturing your best moments in life 😻

It was beyond a pleasure to photograph alyson michelle on her and T's special day. And while I still have many photos to cull, I wanted to give you all a little taste.

And mostly to remind you that yes I am a photographer who works with people, not just dead people's homes 😅
