Every time that I deliver a gallery, I imagine that these will be printed off and flipped through someday in an old worn linen scrapbook while sipping coffee, reminiscing about the good old days 💫 I have found so much joy in the art of adding a handful of unexpected, film-inspired photographs that feel old to the curation of my family galleries - the ones that we don’t really know we’ll appreciate the imperfections of until they’re in our hands.

If I have the honor of capturing these moments for your family, you’ll find me encouraging you to embrace the wild and chaos that is raising children and just dwell in the beautiful season of it, stopping to feed your baby as we go and soothing big kids who may be having a hard day. Leave your kids’ toys out on the living room floor (!!!), don’t wash your dishes just because I’m coming over for an in-home session, and better yet — just brew some coffee and I’ll simply join the party!

Let’s make photos fun!!! And silly!!! And collectively take a deep breath and realize, it simply isn’t so serious after all 💌 ily all!!!

If you’ve ever held back from scheduling a session for whatever reason… I’d love to encourage you to view these photos as a love letter to your future self 🤎 I feel so deeply passionate about capturing the moments, the messy and mundane and ordinary ones.

Perfection isn’t the goal. An aesthetic social media feed isn’t the goal. Instead, think about printing imperfect photos of you & your babies while they’re still little, and tucking them into a shoebox and opening it in 20 years. You’ll be so grateful to have them. These ordinary days are the ones our hearts will long for someday, I just know it!
