I've seen several conversations happening in the photography community right now regarding Al, children's images, and sharing our work online. I've thought about it, and I want to be transparent about where I stand.

I will not be removing all identifiable images of children from my photography page. Please keep reading to learn more.

I completely understand why some photographers and parents are choosing to do that, and I completely respect that decision.

The capabilities of Al are unsettling, and unfortunately there will always be people who misuse technology and images in ways they were never intended to be used.

Sharing my work is a huge part of how I run my business. Families find me because they can see real sessions, real connections, real personalities and the kind of memories create. My portfolio is quite literally how l show you what do. In a world of algorithms and oversaturated photography communities-this is how I show you what I can do and what you can expect when you hire me.

What will never change is that your consent matters more than my content.
If you do not want your child or family shared on my website or social media, tell me. No explanation necessary. No hurt feelings. This is how I have always ran my business and will continue to do so. I will always honor a client’s wishes to remain free from social media or anywhere online for that matter.

No pressure. I will always respect that.
If you're comfortable with me sharing some images but would prefer faceless/detail images of your child, we can absolutely do that too.

And if I have shared an image of your child in the past that you are no longer comfortable having online, message me and I will remove it.

These photographs belong to your memories first and my portfolio second.

I'm going to continue photographing babies, toddlers, kids seniors, athletes and families the way always have - documenting their little faces, personalities, milestones and all the things their parents never want to forget.

I'm also going to continue sharing that work with permission.

There isn't a perfect answer for navigating technology that changes this quickly. For me, right now, this is the decision that feels right for my business while still giving every family complete control over whether their images are shared.

How I feel in the thick of senior season!
Seriously though-this summer started off so strong with some amazing senior sessions and I can't wait to see what this fall brings!

I have space for maybe 1 or 2 more seniors and I am FULLY BOOKED for evening sessions until November!!

I do have a handful of weekday day morning/early afternoon spots available for newborns, cake smashes and other indoor sessions!
