You paid for every one of those business cards. Most of them end up in the trash. 🗑️

With CardVault, they don't have to. Someone scans your card with their phone and hands it right back, so you keep it for the next person. One card can work every meeting.

📲 Coming soon to the App Store
🔒 Contacts stay on your phone
💳 One-time purchase, no subscription

Be honest. You have this drawer.

As a small business owner, I hand out business cards and collect them at every expo, meeting, and job site. Most of the ones I collect end up in a drawer. Then months later I actually need someone, and I'm digging through a pile of coffee-stained cards trying to remember which Mike was the roofer.

So I built an app to fix it.

CardVault is coming soon to the App Store:
📇 Scan a paper business card, or tap an NFC card, and the contact is saved in seconds
🔍 Search it later by name, company, or what they do
🔒 Everything stays on your phone. No cloud, no account.
💳 One-time purchase. No subscription.

I built it solo here in Boone, Iowa, and I'm excited to finally share it. Launch details coming soon.

Been heads-down on a side project. It's called CardVault.

You know that stack of business cards in your truck console? Point your phone at one and it pulls in the name, company, phone, and email. Done.

No account to make. Nothing gets uploaded anywhere. The cards live on your phone and that's it. Buy it once, no monthly fee.

The calm before the agricultural storm. 🚜 I took the drone up over the Central Iowa Expo grounds this afternoon to get a bird’s-eye view of the 2026 Farm Progress Show coming together. The sheer scale of this event is impressive from the ground, but seeing the layout from above really puts into perspective how much preparation goes into transforming Boone into the center of the ag world for the week. The gates open tomorrow morning! Who's going to be there?

Sometimes the best business days look like a day off.

Yesterday I took some time to hang out with my daughter before her big first day of second grade today! We grabbed some great food and made some awesome memories.

We did manage to sneak in a little bit of company business, though. Huge shoutout to Faisal at Dewey Ford for getting us set up with the official new Stratus Mobile! This 2500 HD is going to be a game-changer for hauling our gear to larger mapping and commercial real estate sites.

Feeling incredibly grateful for the flexibility to be there for the big family moments while still building the business. Here’s to a great school year for her, and a busy fall for Stratus Flight & Field! 🚀

Downtown Boone looks amazing from the sky today! 🚁 What a massive turnout for the annual car show. A huge thank you to the Tall Corn Car Club and the AACA for hosting such a fantastic event and keeping this local tradition alive! 🚗💨
