Bethany Adams Photography I am drawn to the act of seeing what often goes unseen—finding beauty in the overlooked and reimagining the familiar through a different lens.

My work invites viewers to pause and consider the world from new perspectives. I began my work in photography in 1998 with 35mm film and have since embraced the possibilities of digital media, while maintaining a strong connection to the discipline and intentionality of my early analog practice. I studied at Columbia College Chicago, where I developed a foundation in both technical craft and visua

l storytelling. My work is shaped by a deep engagement with the natural world, often seeking to reveal aspects of place and detail that might otherwise go unnoticed. Through careful composition and a sensitivity to light and texture, I aim to invite viewers to reimagine the familiar and to see the world from perspectives that are often unseen. My photography serves as an invitation to pause, observe, and rediscover the quiet beauty embedded in the everyday environment. MEMBER OF:
