Sundrop the Golden Retriever AKA Sunny our trail dog is the mascot of the Towpath Trail Peace Park on the Ohio-Erie Canal Towpath Trail which runs concurrent with the Buckeye Trail, Great American Rail Trail and the American Discovery Trail.

📜 Today we celebrate the 231st Anniversary of the Greenville Treaty Line! 🇺🇸🌿

On August 3, 1795, representatives of the United States and many Native Nations signed the Treaty of Greenville, marking an important turning point in the history of the Northwest Territory. While the treaty's consequences remain viewed differently by different communities, it established the Greenville Treaty Line, a boundary that played a major role in shaping the settlement and development of Ohio.

One of the most remarkable places to experience this history is at the Towpath Trail Peace Park, where the Greenville Treaty Line intersects the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. This unique location also brings together four nationally recognized trails:

🚴 Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail
🥾 Buckeye Trail
🚂 Great American Rail-Trail
🌎 American Discovery Trail
