We didn't see Little Miss Moose in Yellowstone this year but we did see Little Mr. Moose. Maybe he will go a courtin' once those nubs turn into antlers.

Took a little break from Africa pictures to go visit the wild ones. Got to see Steele chase another stallion away from Gloria and then do his victory strut back to his soul mate.

The rarest of sightings on the entire 11 days of safari and wildlife in South Africa. This lovely lynx posed for us in the middle of the day for at least 15 minutes, changing location and poses 3 or 4 times. After thanking her we drove away before our presence became uncomfortable for her. If she would have shown any tension or change in behavior we would have left sooner. What a blessing she bestowed upon us.

Amakhala is one of the best game reserves in the South Africa Eastern Cape. We were blessed to spend 5 days at the Amakhala Bukela camp. It was amazing. We added an extra game drive daily so we were out 3 times a day. Exhausting but worth it. One of the best days happened on our last morning drive. We got to spend private extended time with these three cheetah cubs as no other vehicles were close. It was amazing. They snoozed and played and played and snoozed. A little time to edit between flights found this lovely trio. The big old bull has taken the middle teenager under his wing to teach him how to behave as an adult. But the little guy somehow got separated from the herd. Slowly the big old bull has been hazing him back towards the herd where I'm sure his mother has been trying to find him. Still traveling and so just some iPhone photos. Our day at Schotia, the oldest private reserve in the Eastern Cape of South Africa started with a beautiful rainbow. The giraffes were stunning against the skyscape.
