Found myself wandering around Bull Trout Lake in the rain. If you can view this on a large screen, I really liked the rain drops on the water. They can be hard to make out on the small screens.

Finally finished editing my last photo from a beautiful morning at Little Redfish Lake that I captured a few weeks ago. These were taken about 10 minutes apart. I always love seeing how the light changes the scene as the sun comes up.

With the Milky Way Core season coming to an end, I wanted to share a few of my favorites from this year. Smoke and weather really limited my opportunities to get out there this year, but still enjoyed my time under the stars. I love the dark skies of Idaho, looking up and seeing the night sky filled with stars, you can't help but be filled with wonder.

Blue hour at Schwabacher Landing in Grand Teton National Park.

I was passing by so I decided to take a detour thru the Tetons...because why not 😀. I arrived at this spot at 5:30am because I knew it was going to be packed by sunrise. I was the first one there and decided on this spot. By the time I left, the place looked like grand central station. But I had some time alone under the stars before the crowd arrived.

Beautiful morning at Little Redfish Lake.

I was extremely lucky to catch an amazing morning at Little Redfish. This is one of the most beautiful vistas in Idaho. You can't really go wrong getting a photo here, but I have been waiting for conditions like this for some time. My persistence finally paid off. 🙂

Full moon shining bright over Little Redfish Lake.

I wanted to try to find a slightly different perspective of this beautiful view. This was taken around 5am and I loved how the moon was lighting up the fog coming off the lake. The Sawtooths made a perfect silhouette in the night sky. I love that I have the opportunity to enjoy beautiful scenes like this in the still of the night. I feel like I have the whole world to myself. All my problems seem to melt away in these moments.

Christine Falls was a must-visit for me when I visited Mt. Rainier National Park. The arched bridge framing the waterfall gives it such a fairy-tale vibe. Such a beautiful spot in a beautiful park.
