Throwback Thursday photo of Fishhook Creek in the Sawtooths.

This little spot is right off the trailhead and is such a cool place. I hang out and enjoy the cascading water every time I visit. It reminds me a lot of the Smoky Mountains. Hope you enjoy!

Drop your favorites throwback photos in the comments, I would love to see them!

Beautiful morning in Grand Teton National Park. This was a chilly morning at the famous Oxbow Bend. This was my first time at this spot and it did not disappoint.

These photos were all taken on the same morning. I put them in the order they were taken. The light changes the scene and colors as the morning progresses.

The world is too beautiful not to explore and experience.

A bison calf trying its best to keep up with mom in Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park.

I picked a good time to visit because these calves were all over the place. I found out after the fact that they are nicknamed "red dogs" due to their reddish coats.

A beautiful Osprey nesting in Yellowstone.

I was lucky enough to capture a few photos of this Osprey nesting along a river in Yellowstone. Such a majestic animal.

Ospreys can typically be found in Yellowstone between April and September before migrating south.

Had a blast in Stanley, Idaho on Sunday and early Monday morning. I woke up Sunday morning and told my wife....let's just head to Stanley...so off we went. On Sunday afternoon we hiked to Lady Face Falls and then I set up to take some photos of Stanley Lake. I love watching how the light changes a scene so I took this series of photos from before sunset and into the night. This was my very first attempt at astrophotography and I'm kinda hooked. So hopefully I will only get better from here. We finished off Monday morning at Stanley Baking Co.& Cafe before heading back to Boise.

I just got back from a week long trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons. I have hundreds of photos to go through, both wildlife and landscapes. I hope you all enjoy them over the next few weeks.

This is the first bear I have ever photographed. I am out in nature and hike almost every weekend, but I can count on one hand how many times I have seen a bear in the wild. In Yellowstone, I came across two...that I know of. I crossed paths with this one early in the morning as she (or he) was foraging. I was able to get a few photos before it moved along. It's quite a privilege to observe and share space with these animals in their natural habitat.
