Will soon be welcoming two!

I've know John for as long as I've known my husband. He's always had a way of making me laugh, and tonight was no exception. My favorite part of the session was when he told a kid to scram because he was in the way! But in all seriousness, I cannot wait to see these friends become parents. These babies are lucky to have to two down-to-earth and genuine people to love them all their days.

Happy Father's Day

All the heart eyes for this momma 😍😍😍

Maren and I go way back, but we hadn't seen each other since high school. It's so crazy how this little photography gig is bringing old friends back around. I'm so excited for her and her husband to welcome their baby girl so soon! And thank you for choosing me to capture some photos for you before her arrival!

This weekend I saw a quote that has stuck with me. It was Katie Thurmes who said, "We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone."
When it comes to my babies, I always try to soak in all the details. I swear that I'll never forget each stage along the way...but I already have.
I had no idea how to use my camera when this picture was taken 2 years ago, but gosh am I ever grateful to have this moment frozen in time to look back on. And so I'll keep taking all the pictures, and you should too!
