y family growing up, even before I knew what I was doing. My Dad told me that I was the first person in my family to take a picture of our family dog by laying on the floor to meet her point of view. Now I am always looking for the 'not-so-obvious' angles and artistic touches that might make my photos stand out a little from the others. I photograph by natural light, on location- which can include the comfort of your own home. I offer a range from lifestyle sessions, family/group, engagement, maternity, newborns, seniors, any other milestones you can think of (except weddings..), and pets! Do you have a specific idea in mind- maybe something crazy, off the wall? Want some background info? I was a horse camp counselor through high school and into college, a child care teacher through college, a paraprofessional at a school for special education, and am currently working at a community mental health center for kids and their families. I have a BA in psychology, and hope to always have a career in this field. With this experience, I have plenty of patience for even the most challenging models :)
I also have a soft spot for the four legged kids; with experience working with horses, dogs, and cats (and comfortable around most other animals :) ) I have always had dogs. I spent several years involved in dog shows/events and loved every minute. Another goal of mine is to be more involved in supporting shelters and rescue programs.
