Hey all, this little lioness is my niece, Vela. She’s one of the sweetest little firecrackers I know. It breaks my heart that she’s going through this and has to be separated from her family right now.
My sister and brother-in-law have been by her side day and night, juggling work, hospital life, and caring for my nephew at home. It’s already been a long road for Vela and their family. With everything going on, Daniel (her dad) has used up the time he had available at work. His coworkers even came together to raise money so he could still receive a paycheck—such an incredible blessing.
We’re praying and believing for complete healing—that every bit of cancer is eradicated from Vela’s body and that she walks in total freedom from this. At first, the doctors didn’t think they could operate because of where the tumor was located, but we believe God opened doors for second opinions and gave the doctors a new angle to approach it.
