Just your average girl gang getting ready to cause a little hocus pocus!

Tell me if you agree - do you think we take life entirely too seriously sometimes? Because I absolutely do.

Somewhere along the way, we decided photo shoots needed a reason. An engagement. A birthday. A holiday. A milestone.

But what about doing something simply because it sounds FUN?!

Grab your girlfriends. Bring your husband. Come by yourself. Pick a theme, play dress up, and let’s create something that makes you smile every single time you look at it.

Seriously, themed photo shoots are SO underrated. Life is stressful enough. Take the hour, be a little ridiculous, and make some memories!

These are the sessions that remind me why I fell in love with photography. The creativity, the laughter, and getting to watch grown adults forget about real life for a little while. THAT’S the good stuff.

Some love stories just hit a little closer to home. 🥹

And this one? This one has my whole heart.

This is my niece Kaydee and her sweet Gavin. And while I see two people completely in love, I also can’t help but see that cute little redheaded girl I’ve watched grow up.

It’s such a bittersweet thing watching the little ones in your life become adults. One minute they’re running around without a care in the world, and the next they’re falling in love, following their hearts and creating the lives they’ve always dreamed of.

And goodness, I LOVE that for her. Watching her find her happiness and build a life she loves is something so incredibly special.

Now, can we talk about how freaking ADORABLE these two are?!

THIS is the kind of storytelling I love. The giggles, the stolen kisses, throwing apples in the air, running around a field and just being completely yourselves.

Because years from now, I don’t want you to just remember what you looked like. I want you to remember what this season of your life FELT like.

And here’s your reminder that you don’t need an engagement, anniversary or some big milestone to document your love story. Being ridiculously in love with your person is reason enough.

One of the hardest parts of loving animals is knowing you never get enough time with them. 💔

We lost our sweet girlfriend, and goodness, being a chicken momma is not for the weak.

You get these little feathered babies thinking you’re just going to have some chickens running around your yard, and before you know it, they all have their own personalities, little routines, and a special place in your heart.

Last Wednesday evening, the fog had settled over our property, and something told me to grab my camera and just walk around. No plans, no expectations. Just capturing our little slice of life exactly as it was.

I’m so, so glad I did.

Because sometimes the most ordinary moments become the photographs you’re most thankful to have.

Rest easy, sweet girlfriend. Life around here won’t be quite the same without you.

POV: You’re 8 years old, have four legs, and your momma decides it’s time for your very own fall photo shoot.

Everybody meet HEMINGWAY!

This handsome fella is 8 years young, and his momma decided it was about time he got his moment in front of the camera. And honestly? I couldn’t agree more!

Our fur babies are family, too. They grow older way too fast, and someday these sweet little moments will mean absolutely everything.

So here’s your reminder to bring the dog. ALWAYS bring the dog. I’ll never complain about having an extra four-legged model at your session!

Getting the girls together, FINALLY taking the plans out of the group chat, dressing up like witches, and being completely ridiculous in the woods?! THAT is exactly how you should be spending spooky season.

Life is way too short to not do the silly things with your girlfriends. And the photos? ICONIC.

There’s just something about watching two people go from being completely obsessed with each other to being completely obsessed with a tiny human they haven’t even met yet. 🥹

Hallie and Keaton are getting ready to welcome their FIRST little babe, and I just know these two are about to experience the sweetest kind of chaos. Less sleep, more laundry, approximately 47,000 pictures on their phones, and a love they never knew existed. 🤍

Seriously, how SWEET are these two?!

And speaking of sweet… BUSY SEASON IS HERE!

My calendar is filling up, my editing queue is growing, and I’m getting to spend my days catching up with all my sweet clients while documenting the seasons of life they’re in. THAT will forever be my favorite part of this job.
