I think I’ve officially entered my “let’s make your couples session actually feel like YOU” era.. and I’m loving every second of it. 🤭

These two met in Denver 7 years ago after growing up in South Africa (another reminder that when it comes to meeting your person, things always seem to fall perfectly in place), and their number one request was simply to capture the love that comes so naturally to them.

So we did just that — with a little creative twist. I brought along a campsnap for them to play around with while I documented them doing it, and I am so here for the little moments it added to their gallery.

More first dates. More traditions. More favorite places. More weird little things that make you two, you.

I have some VERY fun couples sessions coming up and I cannot wait to keep dreaming these up.

A wedding day that felt like home — because it literally was. 🥹

Getting ready at her dad’s house, saying “I do” by the water at Fort Stevenson, and then coming home to a backyard reception built so intentionally around the two of them.

There was something so sweet about this day. Nothing felt overly complicated or like it had to be a certain way. Just their people, their home, their favorite little details, good food, a packed dance floor, and a whole lot of love in one backyard. 🤍

And even though North Dakota decided to give us nearly 100° + humidity for the occasion 🫠, Hannah + Drew were absolute troopers through it all.

Hannah + Drew, I’m so glad I got to be a little part of this one. 🥹🤍 Such a beautiful day with even more beautiful people.

Here’s the hill I’ll die on: Your wedding day shouldn’t revolve around your photographer or photos. 🫣

I don’t want you looking back and feeling like your wedding was one longgg photoshoot, so when we build your timeline together — we’ll intentionally leave room for you to actually experience the day how YOU want.

I’d much rather steal you away for a few minutes here and there than have you disappear for an hour while your guests wonder where you went. 👀

Those little moments become some of my favorites, too. You get a chance to breathe, be together, and actually soak in the fact that... you’re married !!!! 🕊️🤍

And somehow, those always end up being the photos that feel the most like you. 🥹
