Let’s chat about scheduling!

I wanted to share a quick personal update — I’m expecting another baby girl this summer! Because of that, I’ll be taking the entire month of August off and booking fewer sessions afterward for a little while.

If you’ve been thinking about scheduling a session this summer or early fall, now is a great time to get something on the calendar. I’d love to work with you!

Today we celebrate my father-in-law, who is retiring after 31 years of service as a firefighter, Captain, and most recently Battalion Chief.

In a world that often feels divided, he stands as a reminder of what unites us: the brave men and women who put their lives on the line for complete strangers, day after day. For 31 years, he has run toward danger when others ran away, answering calls in the middle of the night, carrying the weight of responsibility for his crew, and serving his community with quiet strength and steady courage.

He’s more than just a firefighter — he’s someone to admire. He’s shown what it means to work hard, lead with integrity, and dedicate yourself to something bigger than your own life.

We are so proud of him, and so thankful for the sacrifices he’s made for the safety of others. His career may be closing, but this next chapter is just beginning.

Welcome! It’s about time I introduce myself!

My name is Lexi. This little dream of mine started back in 2012 when I picked up my first camera and couldn’t put it back down. I’ve since grown from taking pictures of my grandparents farm cats to capturing life’s most heartfelt memories. I’m originally from a teeny tiny town in Minnesota, but now call the Bismarck, ND area home. Here’s a few tidbits to get to know me a little better. ☟

♦ After having my daughter I decided to make this dream a reality.
♦ My husband is my biggest supporter—he even took these photos!
♦ You’re most likely to find me chasing around my spunky little daughter.
♦ I graduated high school in a class of only 3!
♦ Flatland Cavalry, Turnpike Troubadours, Treaty Oak Revival, Pony Bradshaw, and Shane Smith & the Saints are some of my favorite artists to listen to.
♦ Guilty pleasures: bubblrs & turquoise jewelry.
