Last year, I spent some time in Austin, Texas, photographing the team and work behind Risher Martin. Risher Martin specializes in beautifully crafted custom homes and whole-home renovations, bringing together thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship, and a highly detailed building process. New work : Stealth Rod Co.

Based in Guntersville, AL, Stealth Rod Co. specializes in handmade, technique-specific fishing rods designed for serious anglers. Their casting rods feature integrated carbon platforms (IM7 carbon blanks), full-length carbon handles, compressed carbon reel seats, and carbon air mesh guides instead of traditional thread.

I was tasked with creating imagery for their product launch and new website. I always enjoy the opportunity to work with small businesses and emerging brands. For companies building their identity and establishing themselves in a crowded market, dynamic, intentional imagery is essential. Strong visual content helps build credibility and communicate a brand’s personality.

Alabama Audubon. Birds are carefully captured, measured, and fitted with a small aluminum band on one leg. Each band has a unique identification number that helps researchers track the bird over time. If the bird is recaptured, they can identify where and when it was originally banded. Shot at Rufner Mountain a while back with Cayenne for Alabama Power Foundation.

In 2024, over $200,000 in grants were awarded to organizations that support veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families. These funds went to groups like Three Hots and a Cot, a Birmingham-based nonprofit that helps unhoused veterans achieve independence by providing housing, transportation, job-readiness training, and a strong sense of community.
