π¦π Surprise! Thanks to everyone who checked out the Halloween stop motion video! Here's a closer look at these builds and some of what went into making it.
For this year's project, I knew I wanted to feature an RX-78 as the vampire hunter, along with the Flag as the vampire. I built and painted an HG Revive and used an EG head instead because I liked the proportions. I painted the shadow parts in the head with a Musou Black. This way, it didn't matter what lightning was used. The eyes were clearly defined.
The cape for the Flag came from a Vampire Star Wars action figure that fit perfectly.
For the props and set, The Vampire's house was a piece of Halloween decor I found, shot in front of a TV. Some minitaure furniture was new and others were from last year. I repainted most pieces in darker colors to have contrast n black and white.
Picture frames have photos from last year's Halloween video as well as shots of the Flag from last month. Finally, I gave the interior walls new wallpaper and painted the moulding.
These stop motion videos take months of planning, so your support means so much.
I can't wait to share more exciting holiday projects I have through the rest of the year.
More soon!
