I loved how we were able to give this session a little bit of everything, from clean professional portraits to relaxed lifestyle shots, without losing her personality in the process. Because updating your headshots doesn’t have to mean stiff poses and a plain backdrop.

Sometimes the best branding is simply showing up as yourself… just professionally photographed.

Different generations, different personalities, and probably VERY different group chats. But when mom and her daughters came together for this session, it was nothing but love, laughter, color and connection.

this will always be one of my most favorite maternity sessions… 🩷

there was just something about this entire session. the softness. the connection. the anticipation. the way we moved from beautiful, intimate moments with mom to capturing the love between these two as they prepared to welcome their baby girl.

maternity sessions aren’t just about documenting a growing belly. they’re about freezing this incredibly short chapter of life…the waiting, the excitement, the love and that quiet moment before everything changes.

years from now, their daughter will be able to look at these photos and see just how loved she was before she ever entered the room.

this is why i love what i do.

last night was such a vibe as I captured Alexander Shunnarah’s 25th anniversary! yes, Alabama…and beyond, has been calling him for 25 years! a fun night ended with a flat tire 😩 but hey, i had a great time celebrating with with great people! cheers to 25 years Alex! 🥂
