Beyond the serious game faces, my favorite part of media day is capturing the real personality of the team. Between the ‘not so serious’ faces, the laughs, and all the fun moments, this group was a blast to work with!

Check out some of the highlights below! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Lauren & Jake | 9.19.2026

When Lauren and Jake saved a fortune cookie reading “September will bring you peace and serenity of mind”, it felt like a quiet promise of what was to come. On Saturday, set against the sweeping mountain backdrop, they made good on that prediction.

Here’s a little sneak peek into their stunning day! ✨🤍

When a session starts with “we need a few quick promotional photos” and ends with full-blown 90s mall studio posing, you know you’ve found your people.

Huge thank you to Megan and Asaad for bringing the magic (and the chaos) to this double duty session! Not only did they help bring my fall and Christmas minis vision to life, but when I hit them with “So… hear me out… what if we do some awkward JC Penney style photos?”, they didn’t even blink. Zero hesitation, just immediate commitment to the cause.

From cozy autumn vibes and holiday sweater warmth to high-drama, intense stare into the distance retro styling, they delivered on every single level.

Swipe to the end for some serious American Gothic energy… if Grant Wood was working with a budget of $19.99 and a dream. ✨

Having documented the Miss FLUNY and Miss FLUNY teen competitions this past year, stepping into the MISS exhibition was an incredibly meaningful full-circle moment. Jess’s vision beautifully reframes the pageantry system and explores how young women create, perform, and claim their identities both within and beyond the pageantry system. The show dives deep into the feminine experience, showcasing confidence, emerging leadership, and aspiration, offering a truly empowerful look at these delegates.

It was an absolute honor photographing the MISS exhibition and celebrating the reception send-off for our very own Miss New York Teen, Lucy.

Lauren and Jake have the sweetest kind of connection, the kind that shows up in the little moments. Their laughter, the way that they look at each other, and how comfortable they are simply being together. Those in-between moments are my favorite because that’s where the magic happens.

I loved getting to spend the evening with them and capture this season of their story. And now, with just a few weeks left until their wedding day, I’m even more excited to capture all the moments that are yet to come. 🤍

Back at the waterfalls for another stunning session, this time celebrating Brooklynn as she steps into her final year of high school.

Beyond her creative eye and genuine kindness, Brooklynn possesses a true calling for helping others; she is preparing to pursue a career in nursing after graduation. Incorporating her stethoscope into the session was a meaningful nod to her journey ahead.

It has been such a joy watching Brooklynn grow into such a kind, driven person. Congratulations on this major milestone; I can’t wait to see all of the amazing things you accomplish! 🩺 🤍
