There’s just something about newborn detail shots in black & white.

B&W has a way of making all those tiny details feel even more special. It emphasizes the texture of their little wrinkles, toes, fingers, and baby soft skin without color competing for your attention.

It draws your eye to every tiny crease, curl, and curve. It highlights the soft light and shadows, giving those little details even more depth and dimension.

It makes the little things feel BIG.

The tiny toes.
The little fingers.
The wrinkles.
The baby rolls.

Newborns are only this tiny for such a short time. Those little details may seem small now, but someday they’ll be the things you wish you could remember exactly as they were.

Color trends will come and go, but a beautiful black & white photograph will always feel timeless.

Because the details are the memories. 🤍

For those who don’t know me, I’m Braylee!

I’m the one behind the camera. I’m a 24 year old stay at home mom, wife to my best friend, and mama to two sweet kiddos, one boy and one girl. We will be celebrating 6 years of marriage this September. My family is my favorite part of life. 🤍

My love for photography started with my mom’s camera. Once I figured out how to use it, she gave me all of her photography gear, and that is where this little hobby began. What started as something fun has turned into something I truly love.

I love capturing the little moments and freezing time through photos. There is something so special about being able to look back at a picture and remember exactly how that season of life felt.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me crocheting, reading, or spending time with my family.
