Here she is 16 years later… still reading. She has always been a bookworm. I’m not sure if it’s genetic- she sure didn’t get it from me or perhaps her siblings have so much to do it with it; either way, she stuns me. She always finds a way and reason to read. One of the things that amaze me about her reading is, regardless of what it is she’s doing, she never skips a day to read The Word. That reassures me that she will grow up to be a fine and godly woman. I can’t ask for more from God for her. Good seeds are planted in her soul and spirit and I believe that she will do what is right and not compromise just to fit in. She’s a teen, so of course, she’s not “perfect” but for a teen, she’s pretty dang close. She’s naturally annoying as most kids should be but she counteracts by being a goofball. Sadly, we share the same morbid, twisted sense of humor. I never used to acknowledge the coming new year, but since she was born there’s more to it than just another new year. Happy 16th birthday Gabby and always remember you are loved!
