Apparently today I’m trading my camera for a socket wrench 😂🔧

My Yukon is unfortunately down with a brake vacuum pump issue, so getting that fixed safely has jumped to the top of today’s to-do list. Mom of four, photographer, and now apparently mechanic. Really expanding that résumé over here!! 🫠😂

Apparently the post I had scheduled for the day after Dakota and Natasha’s wedding never went through, and I’m JUST now realizing it! These two deserve their moment because their day was absolutely STUNNING! 😍

They got married the first weekend in October at a beautiful riverside property right outside of Laurel. The weather was PERFECT, the setting was gorgeous, and these photos?! I’m so so in love! 🥹🤎

Does anyone remember their engagement photos?! Getting to photograph their wedding day after capturing that chapter for them was so special. I had such a great time with these two celebrating and capturing it all!

A little hello from the girl behind the camera! 🤎

I’m Shylo, a mom of four and the owner of Capture Life Photography! If we haven’t met yet I am so so glad you’re here!!

This all started with photographing dirt bikes at the Billings Motorcycle Club and eventually grew into capturing weddings, newborns, growing families and so many memories. Getting to photograph someone’s wedding and then meet their babies a few years later is something I’ll never take for granted.

I’m proud of how far this little business has come and I still have so much I want to learn and do. I am going to keep growing. Always going to be trying new things and putting my heart into the work I create for you. There are some big dreams behind this camera and I’m excited to keep working toward them! 🤎

Friday’s session came with the CUTEST little third wheel!!! These two were so sweet, but I think we all know who stole the show!! The floppy ears that little face and the puppy in a basket?! I cannot handle it. Add in these gorgeous fall colors and I’m just obsessed!

It’s the final day of my fall mini marathon! 🍂🤎 After 7 sessions Friday and 19 yesterday, I have 16 more today! Whew!! That’s over 40 sessions this weekend, and my heart is so full. Thank you to every family spending a little piece of your fall with me!

I will be unavailable by phone today while I’m photographing sessions. Thank you for being patient with messages while I give each family my full attention!

Tomorrow and Tuesday I’ll be taking time off, aside from the sessions I already have scheduled, to recuperate, catch up on house chores and spend time with my family. I’ll be unavailable by phone and won’t be responding to routine messages either day.

If it’s an emergency, please call my cell and leave a voicemail so I can get back to you as soon as I’m able. Otherwise, I’ll begin catching up on messages Wednesday!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined me for fall minis yesterday and today! The weather has been absolutely stunning and the colors are so so phenomenal right now! I’ve loved seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. So grateful for all of you keeping this busy bee busy! I’m so excited to see everybody tomorrow!
